Keyboard Guide
There’s a pic of a keyboard with labels of what the keys do. There are a couple of oopses and some things too new to be included but it’s mostly right. I found that if I concentrate on learning to use one at a time, I did very well.

- The pic shows two U keys instead of U and I
- Shows the Delete key to be “Select Next Item” while most of us use the G. I call it Grab and Use – G to select and U to use. The delete key does work but not as extensively and I don’t know the difference.
- , (comma) does something but I don’t know what (on Briden, it may be something I set)
- Alt ‘Click’ selects an item in your inventory
- Shift B is now epic battles
- Shift C is collections, shows all your mounts, pets, emotes and discovered stables
- Shift F is the instance finder
- Shift M brings up the war steed panel
- Ctrl I is the “Specific” instance finder (part of the other one)
- Ctrl K is your skirmish soldier panel
- Ctrl S is the LotRO store
- Ctrl T locks or unlocks an item in your inventory AFTER it’s selected (see Alt Click)
- Ctrl F1-F6 will bring up the inventory bag related to its number
- Ctrl ‘Click’ will outfit an item in your dressing room, you can outfit weapons to see what they look like
- Ctrl ‘Right-click’ inserts a link for an item into a chat window
This leaves several keys open that you can use for whatever you want: Y, P, [, ], semi-colon, X, V, <, >. You can use them for selecting a cosmetic outfit, calling or dismissing a mount or pet, entering music mode, a specific emote, or any other skill. Make sure you check them first to see if they’re already set.
