Did you know that you can copy your User Interface from one character to another? I had no idea.

It sounds a little complicated but it’s actually quite easy.

Login to the toon that has the “desktop” you like.

In the chat window, type

/ui layout save

Now go to the toon whose layout you want to change and type

/ui layout load

You may have to “load” the layout twice.

If you want to save multiple layouts (perhaps one for normal play and one for raids) you can name the layout

/ui layout save NAME

and then

/ui layout load NAME
